The 2017 Great Gatherings Online Auction is LIVE

The 2017 Online Auction is LIVE!!

Please visit to start your bidding now!

The auction items are grouped into the following categories:

  1. Bid Up Premiere Items:  The items in this category are all designated as “Bid Up” items, meaning that the items will be sold to the highest bidder (or, for some items, the highest bidders).  Items in this category include parking privileges, principal/nurse-for-a-day privileges, special trips, and other unique items.
  2. Bid Up School Privileges: This category consists of school-related privileges including preferred seating at school events (promotion ceremonies, musicals, etc.), birthday marquee privileges, and opportunities for your child to read the morning announcements.  All items in this category are “Bid Up” items.
  3. Great Gatherings:  The Great Gatherings are grouped into the following categories:  Grade Level Gatherings, Mixed Grade Gatherings, Family Gatherings, and Adult Gatherings (some Gatherings are offered in multiple categories).  The Great Gatherings’ categories are comprised of both “Bid Up” items and “Buy Now” items, and most items offer multiple spots.
  4. Wish Lists:  This category consists of opportunities for auction participants to donate directly to specified programs, needs and activities at ROE (specialist programs, teacher appreciation, technology needs, etc.).  Donors do not receive any goods or services in return for donations made under this category making the entire donation 100% tax deductible.

The “Buy Now” items will be sold on a first-come, first-purchased basis and must be paid for at the time of purchase.  All “Buy Now” items will indicate the number of remaining lots available for purchase, and will also list the name of any person who has purchased a lot for a particular item.

“Bid Up” items will be sold to the highest bidder (or bidders) at the conclusion of the auction and must be paid for within two (2) days after the conclusion of the auction.  If you are a winner of a “Bip Up” item, you will receive an email which will include a link through which you can make your payment.  Please note that many “Bid Up” items offer multiple spots to a specified number of top bidders.  If a “Bid Up” item is available to multiple bidders, the description of the item will indicate the number of spots that are available.   The top five bidders will display next to each “Bid Up” item. You will also  be given the opportunity to enter a “maximum bid.”  Please note that when you enter a “maximum bid”,  the auction platform will automatically bid you up each time someone enters a higher bid to ensure you have the top spot, regardless of how many spots are available or filled.

We have had a number of NEW entries since the catalog was shared. Be sure to check out everything so you don’t miss out on all of the amazing offerings donated by our ROE Families and staff!  The Auction ends Thursday, November 16th, at 10:00 PM (with the exception of the auction for the reserved seats for the Second Grade Musical, which will end at 10:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14th).  We hope that everyone participates in this fantastic fundraiser for our great school!

Thanks for your continued support of ROE.  Happy bidding!

2017-2018 Annual Fund

While we realize Hurricane Relief will take precedence in your philanthropic giving, we hope you will consider supporting our school campaign as well. As in year’s past, our Annual Fund is primarily focused on participation and we appreciate any contribution.

The ROE PTO Annual Fund was launched five years ago to replace traditional fundraising campaigns such as gift wrap and cookie dough sales.  100% of your Annual Fund donation goes directly to ROE and helps to cover the cost of programs like in-service/trainings for teachers, the annual IB fee, field trips at every grade level, technology in our classrooms, campus security, teacher and staff appreciation, last summer’s Nature Center updates, the new sound system and much more.  The PTO’s ability to fund these types of programs and activities for our students and faculty is part of what makes ROE such an exceptional school.

Every contribution makes a difference!!  We are challenging ROE families to have 100% participation in the Annual Fund by Tuesday, October 17, 2017.  In addition to helping to make our awesome school even more amazing, there are three good reasons to donate:

1.       Each student that donates will be entered in a drawing for one of five ROE t-shirts from the ROE Spirit Store.

2.       The first class in each grade level to reach 100% participation will win popsicles for the whole class!

3.        If the entire school reaches its goal of 100% participation and/or raising $90,000, Dr. Fovargue will    personally DJ a dance party for the entire school!!!

There are two options to participate:

1) Pay by credit card online:

2) Fill out the Annual Fund donation form sent home with your child and return, along with your donation, to your oldest child’s teacher OR drop it off at the ROE front desk OR mail it to ROE c/o Annual Fund, 2008 Kirby, Houston, TX 77019 before the October 17th deadline.

Thank you for your support!!!
